Zak LOVES people. His stardard greeting is a kiss aimed directly for the mouth. He has been to obedience school three times and still insists on doing this, but now he simply expedites the process because he knows “it’s bad”. It’s not like he doesn’t understand – he is the smartest dog I know. He responds to many words and is eager to perform his wide repertoire of dog tricks to anyone who will watch. He was extremely easy to teach everything EXCEPT no more kisses. We just gave up!
We had folks from our office over one day for a social event. Most all had been to the house and knew Zak, so they were prepared to be assaulted. Unfortunately for Mindy, she was unaware of this behavior and in a flash Zak knocked her to the floor and was showering her with kisses. She was a good sport and fortunately unharmed by the overzealous execution of affection.
This is Zak yesterday with Olivia. He was having a bad day, but still gave Olivia kisses.
